It’s going to be a long, hot summer. So why not spend a nice hot day at a BBQ where the fire cooks good food instead of cooking tired firefighters?
Location: Kettle River Campground
Date: Saturday, July 15
Time: 1200 to ?
Pot Luck, so bring your favourite foods. The district will provide the meat. (Something about a district hunt the day before? No?)
The district training for the month of July 2017 will be at the District training center. Wear Wildland PPE.
Main subject will be ICS Review.
1800-2000
There will be no medical training for the months of July and August.
Medical personnel are advised to keep up on their continuing education requirements during this time utilizing outside resources.
Training will resume tentatively in September. Watch the Calendar for specific date.
Joint Fire District 3&8 will be having a fire fighter one structure class and ice rescue
structure dates;
Nov 22 6 to 9 pm
Nov 29th 6 to 9 pm.
Dec 3rd 8am to 4 pm.
Dec 6th 6-9pm.
Dec 10th 8am to 4 pm
Dec 13th 6-9pm
Ice rescue will start Dec4th 9am to 1pm
All classes will be help at the district training center
